Welcome to The Crescent Primary School

We are a two-form entry school in the Selhurst area of Croydon serving our local community.  Our school has a proud and rich history dating back to 1909.  The school has been at the heart of the community providing generations of young people with opportunities to learn, grow and succeed.

A traditional building on the outside but modern inside with meeting pods, a computing suite, art studio, dance studio, music room and two libraries.  We also offer fantastic grounds with three playgrounds, a basketball court and a field for football, cricket and athletics.

We have an amazing team of staff who work together to ensure that everyone feels part of the school and create a safe, caring and ambitious learning environment where children are equipped with the skills they need to succeed.  Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to nurture curiosity, confidence and a life-long love of learning.

We are committed to working with our families and believe a strong partnership between home, school and the wider community is essential for every child to flourish academically, socially and emotionally through high expectations and mutual respect. Working together, we aim to equip our children with the knowledge, skills and character education they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Whether you are a current member of our school community or considering joining us, we hope that you find our school welcoming, inspiring, where every child is valued and supported.
